A beautiful waffle patterned piece Japanese sea glass is bezel set in Argentium Silver* for this gorgeous ring. This sea glass is called ohajiki, and these pieces were used in a children's game for hundreds of years, as early as the 1600's. Ohajiki that are found with the pattern intact are often buried in the sand, allowing them to retain some of their original markings.
 
This ring features a sterling silver scallop shell "prong" accent and a sunrise on the back side of the band. The band has been handcrafted from thick gauge recycled argentium silver and given a slight hammered pattern. It would comfortably fit a size 8.75-9. Please leave a note at checkout if you are a 9 so I can give it a few taps with my hammer. :) I have finished off this piece with a subtle texture around the glass that shines and highlights the piece.

*Argentium Sterling Silver (93.5%) contains more silver than traditional Sterling Silver (92.5%), and has the addition of germanium. It's properties makes it far more tarnish resistant than Sterling Silver, and brighter. It is made from 100% recycled silver, so like sea glass, it is Eco-friendly.
